What a magical night at the University of Nebraska Medical Center SEAC Holiday Event!! 💫 The energy, the connections, and the joy exceeded all expectations. Seeing our students come together and celebrate their achievements and community was truly inspiring. The Student Engagement Advisory Council (SEAC), is an initiative from our College of Medicine, Office of Strategic Initiatives, that fosters a sense of belonging, promotes inclusion, and uplifts student leaders from underrepresented minority groups. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A heartfelt note of gratitude to the phenomenal planning committee teammates I had the honor of working with to bring this event to life. Sarah, Sophia, Diego, Austen, Abraham, your dedication, creativity, and vision made it all possible, and the impact you have made on our student and faculty community is truly inspiring. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors for making this event possible, Ambetter Health & Latino Economic Development Council–your commitment and support to our future generation of doctors is admirable and highly appreciated. And most importantly, to our amazing students, you are the heart of this celebration. Your passion, commitment, resilience, and sense of belonging are why we do this. I am here for you, and I am constantly inspired by your passion and leadership. Let’s keep building this incredible community together! • Could your company save by switching to an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA)? Read this inspiring story that started with just one curious employee.

Business Development Leader specializing in healthcare solutions

How One Employee’s Initiative Is Going To Transform Their Company’s Healthcare Plan, a short but inspiring story: Today, I received a call from an employee of a dental clinic curious about ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement). She had first heard about ICHRA through a family member working at Centene Corporation and took it upon herself to dive deeper into the topic. After extensive online research (including checking out plan options on Ambetter Health’s website) she was amazed by how much she could save by switching to the individual marketplace. Driven by these potential savings, she shared her findings with her coworkers. Together, they approached their leader with the idea. As a result, the company is now exploring a more affordable healthcare option, allowing employees to enjoy lower premiums and deductibles, all while maintaining access to robust provider networks through Ambetter Health. This story reminds us that change often starts with one person’s initiative. If you’re concerned about rising healthcare costs, don’t hesitate to explore alternative solutions like ICHRA. And share what you learn with your team. You might just inspire a company-wide transformation.

This past weekend delivered a thrill ride for race fans, our Ambetter Health executives, brokers, and local health partners from SilverSummit Healthplan. We were proud to be the title sponsor for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Ambetter Health 302, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where A.J. Allmendinger took home the impressive winning trophy, presented by Katherine Kirby, Chief Operating Officer of Ambetter Health. Before the race, Nate Watters, Chief Sales Officer for Ambetter Health was invited on stage for opening remarks and separately, four Ambetter Health brokers, Lisa & Greg Drake, Michael Walker, and Janet Naevarez shouted the traditional call to racing, “Drivers, start your engines”. Driving in the pace cars were, Lauren Niebruegge, Chief Financial Officer, Marketplace, and her husband Dan, Wade Rakes, Chief Growth Officer, Joel Portman, Vice President, Marketplace and Network Strategy, Dan Martinez, Vice President, Regulatory Operations and Cody Wallace, Associate General Counsel.   Both Saturday and Sunday drew hundreds of race fans to the Ambetter Health’s Fan Zone, where they could spin the prize wheel and even grab an autograph from NASCAR driver Zane Smith.   Thank you to our fantastic team on the ground who have made the Fan Zone the place to be before all the races, and for greeting thousands of race fans throughout the season with unparalleled enthusiasm! As the racing season winds down, we'll look forward to seeing you all at the finish line.
