Celý život vedu lidi k lepším výsledkům. Ve sportu, mezi lidmi s handicapem i v byznysu – pomocí tréninků rétoriky a vyjednáváním, rozvojem manažerů a budováním zdravě rostoucích firem. A předávám přitom dál to, co jsem si sám zažil. Odmalička jsem byl introvert a překonával překážky. Mluvit před lidmi pro mě bývala noční můra. Dodnes si pamatuju, když jsem poprvé mluvil na celofiremním sjezdu Schwarz Gruppe. Na mě záře reflektorů, přede mnou stovky manažerů plní očekávání. Shořel jsem. Pět minut jsem něco blábolil a pak jsem se studem odběhl z pódia. Bylo to rétorické peklo. A já věděl, že tohle už nechci nikdy zažít. Prošel jsem všechny kurzy rétoriky v Německu, Rakousku a Švýcarsku. Přečetl jsem všechny zásadní knihy, které o psychologii ovlivňování vyšly. A pak jsem všechno roky poctivě testoval. Díky tomu vím, co funguje. A taky vím, že na většině kurzů se učí naprosté kraviny. A učí je lidi, kteří v životě na žádné vedoucí pozici nebyli. Nemuseli stát před tisícovkou naštvaných zaměstnanců. Nemuseli čelit tlaku na hospodářský výsledek. Nemuseli se zodpovídat představenstvu. Já si toto všechno prožil. Od roku 2003 se pohybuju na TOP manažerských pozicích. Nejvíce času jsem strávil ve Schwarz Gruppe – největší obchodní skupině v Evropě, pod kterou spadá Lidl nebo Kaufland. Působil jsem v představenstvu a vedl jsem všechna zásadní vyjednávání. Řídil jsem strategický rozvoj Kauflandu ve východní Evropě a dostal ho z červených do černých čísel. V polském Kauflandu jsem na pozici místopředsedy představenstva nastartoval opatření k zisku ocenění Zaměstnavatel roku 2017 a 2018. Všechno ale nebylo vždycky růžové. I já jsem zažil krizi. Krizi z přepracování, krizi ze špatně nastavených priorit. Takto to šlo několik měsíců. Pak jsem se podíval do zrcadla a uviděl přesně to, čeho jsem se dřív hrozil. Člověka se zašedlým bělmem a uniformním účesem. Člověka bez radosti a osobního života. V ten moment jsem změnil přístup. Dnes je to moje největší výhoda. Nejsem žádný „baťůžkář“, který si načetl pár chytrých knížek a teď o nich přednáší. Všechno jsem si to zažil. Vím, jaké to je vést 10, 100, nebo 10 000 zaměstnanců. Vím, čím si prochází přetížení manažeři. Vím, co musí splňovat firma, pokud má být úspěšná.
