Are you Courageous
How would you define your courage?
Courage manifests itself in multiple forms…..
Is it caring for the wounded in battle as did Honorary Captain John Weir Foote, Chaplain and Victoria Cross recipient. Captain Foote, a Presbyterian Minister not only ministered to the physical wounds, but as well the spiritual wounds at Dieppe in WW II?
Is it a young man, soon to be a father facing a serious illness and a battle to regain his health? Or perhaps it is a woman interacting with her abuser time and time again, and at last gaining the courage to now face them in court hoping for justice?
Uprooting your family to a new city, state or country in hopes of a renewed and better life?
Maybe it is less life shattering and it is making cold calls at your first sales role? Taking your driving test? Asking someone for a date? Leaving the security of a guaranteed salary job and launching your own business?
Courage is in all of us, and we exhibit it in as various ways. Every day we face challenges and it is up to us to gain the courage to push through the fears and be who we were meant to be!
Don’t be afraid to share your fears, so we can all see how courageous you are!
