Vibha Expands Its Reach in Telangana: A New Milestone

On August 23rd, Vibha marked a significant milestone in our mission to provide inclusive and equitable quality education for all by expanding our efforts into Telangana. We are thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Integrated Tribal Welfare Department and Leap For Word to implement the English Literacy Program in tribal areas across four districts in Telangana.

This partnership is closely aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which focuses on quality education, particularly improving literacy rates among marginalized communities. While Telangana has made commendable progress toward achieving SDG 4, challenges remain in reaching remote tribal areas. Through this initiative, we aim to bring quality education to 135-150 tribal welfare schools, positively impacting approximately 3,500-4,000 students and supporting 300-350 dedicated teachers.

Our collaboration not only supports the Telangana government’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational outcomes in tribal regions but also strengthens the capacity of the Tribal Welfare Department to deliver sustainable, high-quality education. The English Literacy Program is designed to equip students with essential foundational skills, paving the way for further learning and broader opportunities in life.
