When choosing vehicles for your corporate fleet in Latin America, the level of safety you provide for your drivers and their family, as well as surrounding pedestrians is of utmost importance.

With that said, listed here are two of the safest cars tested recently by Latin NCAP, the Latin America and Caribbean regional car safety assessment program. Although the program does not test all car models, we can see here that Volkswagen has come out on top in recent months.

2022

The 2022 Volkswagen Nivus with 6 Airbags received a top-rating of five stars during its Latin NCAP crash tests which took place in September 2022.

The 5-door SUV, which is manufactured in Brazil, received a 92% score for adult occupant protection, 92% for child occupant protection, 49% for the protection of pedestrians and vulnerable road users, and 85% for safety assist systems.
