A Cool Case Study of this Week 😎

PayU experienced a 7x increase in MQLs in less than two quarters via TripleDart’s Acquisition Marketing Efforts

PayU, a leading payment gateway provider, enables more than 5 lakh companies to collect online & offline payments across 150+ payment modes. Their payment gateway offers the highest success rates and ensures a seamless and secure checkout experience. PayU team contacted TripleDart to help with their Acquisition marketing objectives, including Paid and Branding efforts.

Problem:

Before the engagement with TripleDart, one of the consistent challenges encountered by the PayU was the inability to scale the conversions through paid marketing campaigns while also reducing the cost per conversion.

Challenges

The primary challenge was leveraging qualified MQLs while cutting down on ad spending. We had to carve out varied strategies that could be implemented with a conservative approach and experiment accordingly to find the sweet spot for PayU.

How did we achieve it?

Given the challenges, we could still achieve our goal and, in fact, go above and beyond on the MQLs while reducing the CPC to one-third. Strategy :

  • Revisiting hygiene on an account level
  • Restructuring the Campaigns to reduce Keyword Cannibalization
  • Incorporated long-tail keywords to reduce CPL
  • Improved PayU’s brand presence, which enables search trends and conversions
  • Implemented Conversion  set up to improve the predictability of Campaign Performance
  •  Resumed the Performance Max campaign and leveraged it as the most successful arena

Results

  • 7X improvement in SQLs
  • 3X Decrease in CPC
  • 1.3X increase in conversion at half the spend

Why this creative?

  • We are in awe of the image copy! It will resonate with the target audiences in one go.
  • The idea of a demo is represented very well here, with no room for confusion about what the product is about!
  • The color play is interesting and matches the intent of the image copy really well.

SaaS email copy that we loved this week 🥳

We recently got this email from Hootsuite and can’t stop gushing over the email copy. Here are the things that worked for us in this email:

  • The subject and body of the email match! They promise to share some resources for free in the subject line and are sharing free social media templates in the email.
  • The email body is informative. There is a slight nudge to opt for the free trial, but it is very subtle. The email is not salesy in any way. That’s something very rare these days.
  • The best part of the email is the “Not ready for Hootsuite yet?” section. We appreciate how they focus on nurturing and not just selling. They are giving the recipients access to their template library even though they didn’t make a purchase.
