Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Role
Are you an inspirational leader with a talent for motivating people and networks to achieve goals? Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) is seeking a Deputy Chief Executive Officer to join our team.
SVE is the partnership and development agency for the third sector in Stirling. As the local third sector interface we are a membership organisation of locally based charities, social enterprises and volunteer-led community organisations.
Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Board of Directors, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the strategic plan for developing the third sector and volunteering in Stirling. Key responsibilities include providing leadership and management of colleagues, programmes, and resources to implement SVE’s strategic and operational plans effectively.
As a highly motivated and emotionally intelligent leader, you'll demonstrate sound judgement under pressure and possess strong problem-solving skills. Your commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace will be evident, aligning with SVE's vision and values.
You'll excel in communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders. Your exceptional organisation and planning abilities will ensure efficient management of individual and team workloads and deadlines.

Development & Engagement Coordinator (Social Enterprise)

Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) is the partnership and development agency for the third sector in Stirling. As the local third sector interface we are a membership organisation of locally based charities, social enterprises and volunteer-led community organisations.
We are currently seeking a Development & Engagement Coordinator in Social Enterprise to lead our efforts in helping social enterprises achieve their business and social value goals.
In this role, you will work closely with social enterprises and aspiring social entrepreneurs, understanding their needs and delivering the support they need to grow and build sustainability. This work is a vital part of the Stirling Social Enterprise Strategy Action Plan, a collaborative effort to develop and extend social enterprise across Stirling.
You'll have the unique opportunity to support a diverse range of social enterprises throughout their journey from startup to growth, scaling up, and sustaining their impactful work. Your practical skills and experience in business advising and/or community development will be essential in this role.
Additionally, you will help social enterprises build their networks and voice, playing an instrumental role in facilitating the Forth Valley Social Enterprise Network. Your ability to build relationships, balance practical support with strategic insights, and influence local policy and practice will be key in shaping the future of social enterprise in Stirling.

We are currently seeking a Development & Engagement Coordinator in Employability to facilitate partnerships and design a commissioning framework for employability programmes within the third sector, providing local people with opportunities, skills, and positive outcomes for employment.
Designing, delivering, and evaluating programs that tackle local employment needs will be at the core of your responsibilities. You'll support third sector organisations in developing fair work practices, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for people from diverse backgrounds.
You'll also oversee our employability grants programme, using data to measure effectiveness and inform future improvements. Providing guidance and training to empower third sector organisations in engaging with local commissioning processes will be key, as you work to co-produce new services in employability.

Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) is looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team. SVE is the partnership and development agency for the third sector in Stirling. As the local third sector interface we are a membership organisation of locally based charities, social enterprises and volunteer-led community organisations.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in our office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include managing paperwork, maintaining office facilities, organising meetings, taking minutes, and providing excellent customer service. While prior experience is advantageous, we're committed to providing training and support to help you thrive in this role.
