Smart Automotive Summit 2024 Marks Landmark Success in the Future of Smart Mobility; India’s Push for Mass Adoption of Electric Vehicles and More...

The Smart Automotive Summit 2024, held on December 18 at Bengaluru, Karnataka, concluded with overwhelming success. Bringing together a distinguished group of industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers, the summit explored the latest advancements in autonomous driving, Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) connectivity, electric vehicles (EVs), and sustainable mobility, reinforcing its role as a pivotal event for shaping the future of smart mobility.


The Government of India continues to advance its commitment to affordable and environmentally friendly public transportation through the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India (FAME-India) Scheme. Introduced in 2015, the initiative aims to promote electric mobility by offering demand incentives for electric vehicles (EVs).


Tata Motors reported total sales of 2,35,599 vehicles in the domestic and international markets for Q3 FY25, showing a marginal increase from 2,34,981 units in Q3 FY24. While domestic sales contributed significantly, international markets added to the overall momentum.
