The UK has a new Prime Minister and the country is set to participate in the COP27 conference in Egypt this year, amid all the related negotiations and trading around climate targets and deliverables. Currently, the UK, in its bid to achieve the 2050 net zero goals, has announced a slew of new measures and policies. However, the outcome depends upon efficient implementation and management of these policies. Globally, there is extensive debate and discussion on climate change targets and there is creeping scepticism on the ability of the government to tackle the mother of all emergencies: climate change.
Cambridge Cleantech, in partnership with Michael Page, are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a debate at the Cambridge Union on the topic, ‘Can National Governments Tackle Climate Change?’. Join us for free and hear from key experts in the sector!
