1. Readiness Check

  • Update Readiness Check Note:Action: Ensure you are using the latest version of the SAP readiness check note (SAP Note 3059197).Importance: The latest note contains crucial updates that reflect the most current best practices and tools for assessing your system’s readiness for S/4 HANA.Process: If an outdated version is installed, remove it and implement the latest version. Then, collect relevant data using the provided report.

2. Consistency Check

  • ABAP Class Inconsistency:Action: Collaborate with your technical team to review ABAP class inconsistencies.Process: In transaction SE24, clean up class headers by identifying and resolving inconsistencies. Use the Utilities option to regenerate the necessary sections in change mode.Importance: Addressing these inconsistencies early prevents potential issues during the conversion process.
