A rose does not envy the tulip

A few days ago, my mother sent me a video of flowers flourishing aggressively along the roadside. She recorded it during her evening walk…

Inspired by the sight of these flowers, I found myself compelled to write about the Silent Wisdom of Flowers.

(The video is here)

The power of silent growth : A flower’s journey is one of quiet elegance and unspoken resilience. Unlike humans, a flower never speaks of growing; it simply does. It unfurls its petals and reaches toward the sun without boasting of its progress or the effort it takes to flourish.

The importance of coexistence: In the garden of life, flowers do not compete with each other. Each bloom stands in its own glory, not bothered by the achievements or failures of those around it. A rose does not envy the tulip, and a daisy does not try to outshine the lily. They all grow together in harmony, each adding its own unique beauty to the world.

The beauty of embracing our imperfections: Moreover, a flower never worries about its imperfections. It does not lament a petal that is slightly askew or a leaf that is less than perfect. It accepts its form and continues to bloom with grace, reminding us that beauty lies in embracing our flaws and thriving despite them.

As we journey along our own paths, let us draw some inspiration from the simple yet profound wisdom of flowers.

A flower never speaks of growing

It finds its way in silent grace

A flower never competes to shine

They bloom in harmony.

A flower never frets its flaws

It accepts its form

In the wisdom of flowers

Life's truths unfold:

Growing silently to coexist

Persisting despite our flaws.
