We’re thrilled to announce that Omnivore has achieved a Gold rating in BlueMark’s Fund Impact Diagnostic (Fund ID) assessment, further cementing our leadership in impact-driven investing. This recognition underscores the strength of our impact strategy, governance, management, and reporting practices. Additionally, BlueMark’s evaluation of our alignment with the Operating Principles for Impact Management (OPIM) highlighted our robust integration of impact considerations across our investment processes.

Through these evaluations, we emerged as a benchmark in implementing advanced practices while identifying areas for enhancement.

Fund ID Gold Rating: A Benchmark for Excellence

BlueMark’s Fund ID assessment evaluated the quality of our impact strategy, governance, management, and reporting. Key highlights include:

  • High Ratings in Governance and Management: Recognizing our strong oversight, clear ESG and impact management responsibilities, and proactive monitoring practices.

  • Strategic Impact Focus: Our commitment to Driving Agricultural Prosperity, Transforming Food Systems, and Promoting Climate Sustainability sets a high standard for impact in India’s agritech sector.

  • Transparent Reporting: Our detailed and data-driven impact reports provide stakeholders with clarity and confidence in our practices.

OPIM Verification: Advanced Impact Practices

In parallel, our alignment with OPIM was validated with "Advanced" ratings in critical areas:

  • Our structured processes for impact monitoring and ESG risk management stood out. We employ tools like an exclusion list, risk categorisation frameworks, and Environmental and Social Action Plans. These practices align with international benchmarks, such as IFC Performance Standards and GIIN’s IRIS+ metrics.

  • The evaluation rated us "High" in impact management, recognising our rigorous due diligence, monitoring protocols, and annual audits. Our proactive use of lean data studies further validates the impact metrics collected from portfolio companies.

Why These Recognitions Matter

These evaluations demonstrate our dedication to driving systemic change in agritech while maintaining accountability and transparency. The “Gold” rating from the Fund ID assessment positions us as a leader in responsible investing, while the "Advanced" OPIM ratings validate our best-in-class practices.
