Research study: Diet may improve brain health in older adults with obesity

Older individuals who have obesity and problems with their metabolism can improve their brain health by eating a healthy diet. An NIA-led research team discovered this finding after comparing brain changes in older adults who had followed either an intermittent fasting diet or the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) healthy living diet for eight weeks.
