New challenge for early prediction of dementia
Use your data science skills to accelerate dementia research by participating in Phase 2 of the Pioneering Research for Early Prediction of Alzheimer's and Related Dementias EUREKA Challenge. The challenge aims to advance solutions for accurate, innovative, and representative early prediction of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Participants will develop analytics approaches using survey or audio data to help predict cognitive impairment or dementia. Learn more about the challenge.
Administrative supplements: What’s allowable and what’s out of bounds
Have you heard of administrative supplements? These add-ons for existing NIH grants can help cover unanticipated cost increases, but they must be within the original scope of work.
Administrative supplements are designed to be used for an increase in costs that occurs due to unforeseen circumstances. Costs must be within the scope of the original peer-reviewed and approved project, but do not require further peer review. Learn more from the Inside NIA blog.
Olive oil consumption linked with lower risk of dementia-related death
Consuming olive oil is associated with lowering the risk of dementia-related death compared to rare or no consumption of it — regardless of overall diet quality — according to an NIA-funded study. The findings suggest that an eating pattern that incorporates olive oil may support brain health. Learn more about the research study.

1moGood afternoon, National Institute on Aging (NIA) The link related to the research study on olive oil consumption being linked to lower dementia-related deaths appears to link to the NIA blog post on administrative supplements. The above link for that blog post also does so-it's duplicated and I cannot access the research. Please address. Thank you.
