December 2024 Renewal Publication - Sunderland Marine, part of the NorthStandard Group
We are pleased to share the latest publication “December 2024 Renewal” where we hear from Craig McBurnie, Head of Sunderland Marine, on the challenges facing vessel owners, geopolitical issues, and our commitment to our policyholders as these challenges evolve.
Coastal & Inland Renewal 2025
The Committee reviewed the release calls for the open policy years 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25, and confirmed that all will remain at nil. No call is expected in addition to the Estimated Total Premium (ETP) for all open policy years. This is the 46th year that this has been the case.
Pre-Renewal Report 2025
NorthStandard’s Pre-Renewal Report looks ahead to the 2025 renewal and sets out the club’s robust financial position. With unpredictable factors driving higher marine claims costs, it is in these challenging circumstances that shipping has most need of its best P&I providers. NorthStandard’s expanded scale, service reach and investments underscore the club’s resilience to an uncertain and changing world.
