The Investor - a good read for the well read

The world is many things at the moment, but dull is not one of them. Confidence is beginning slowly to return as easing of restrictions brings people back together and the economy rebounds. It's been written many times, but I'm happy to add my line. The UK vaccination rollout has been nothing short of a triumph. The end of the pandemic in the UK is in sight.

There have been many unintended consequences of COVID. You only need to look at the domestic property market as evidence of that.

There are a lot of individual and societal issues that will need to be addressed in the months and years ahead. That's why the new edition of The Investor magazine is such an engaging and varied read. Articles include:

  • The dangers of herd mentality and the fear of missing out (FOMO) in relation to behavioural finance.
  • Can wealth inequality between men and women ever be levelled up?
  • Net zero. Using our money as a force for good in the world.
  • Fronting up on need to finance later life care.
  • Is there cause for optimism in the UK equities market?

If any of the content gives you reason to consider your own situation in relation to financial planning, do not hesitate to reach out. Otherwise I hope that the magazine is a worthwhile read.
