Here's to 2023!

Here's to 2023!

As we start winding down for the holidays, we find ourselves reflecting on 2023 and the work we've done to create meaningful, tangible impact for our planet and people.

Look back with us at some of the projects, launches, events and milestones that remind us of all we've accomplished — together — in the last 365 days.

🍀 March: At Aspen Ideas: Climate, we launched GreenLight Solution by Deloitte, an enterprise decarbonization Software as a Service (SaaS) composed of a modular system of tools that helps empower organizations to take action at every stage of their decarbonization journey.

April: We launched our LinkedIn channel (this very one!) with the goal of sharing our sustainability work through thoughtful storytelling, engaging conversations and unique, captivating imagery.

🌸 May: We announced ClearCarbon™, a digital solution designed to integrate project-level carbon reductions and removals data, allowing organizations to make product-level carbon claims that can demand a premium in the market while demonstrating real sustainability impact.

🎨 June: We were on the ground at Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity, the largest annual gathering in the creative marketing community, to lead 22 individual sessions over four days. We brought together creative industries, major brands, NGOs and the UN to discuss how businesses can unlock creative potential to have a real impact on today’s most pressing sustainability challenges.

☀️ July: We announced our collaboration with AT&T and Salesforce to develop our new data management solution, Sustainability 360™. A connectivity-based approach to ESG data collection and sustainability management, Sustainability 360™ helps organizations streamline their processes, enhance data integrity and identify sustainability improvement opportunities across their extended enterprise.

🗽September: We attended Climate Week NYC alongside the 78th United Nations General Assembly, hosting LinkedIn Live webcasts, in-person roundtables and other events that convened leading minds to share insights to help advance the transition to a more equitable, low-carbon economy. Throughout the week, we sought to inspire business, government, and nonprofit leaders to accelerate the transition to a nature-positive future, while promoting prosperity for communities and organizations.

🍁 October: We reinforced Deloitte’s position as a leader in climate technology, biodiversity and regenerative, nature-based solutions at GreenBiz's Verge, Bloom and inaugural Water Forum. By convening key stakeholders and leading action-oriented conversations, we worked to support the business case for sustainability and advance a sustainable future for all.

🚋 November: The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2023 & National Center for APEC Sustainable Future Forum was held in San Francisco, California. This was only the third time the U.S. has hosted an APEC meeting, and we capitalized on the unique opportunity to convene speakers from government, APEC member economies, and the private sector to continue our work toward a healthy planet and people well into the future.

❄️ December: We were in the thick of what's been dubbed "The COP of Action," also known as COP28. Our delegates focused on financing the green energy transition, clean hydrogen's outsized role in helping meet climate goals, data-driven insights and strategic action accelerated by technology, and, above all, creating lasting change together.

As we all know, there is much more work to be done. For now, though, we wish you a joyful holiday season, and we look enthusiastically ahead to further shared momentum and progress in 2024!

The incredible people who are driving our efforts forward! Thankful for each and everyone who has been a partner in some of our biggest moments this year. Truly a team effort 💚

Creating a safe, healthy, equitable future for my children — and their children — is the most important thing in my world, and I'm proud of the purpose-driven work I've been able to do since starting with Deloitte Sustainability this year. 💛
