An Encrypted World – Part 2 – Vicki
In our last post, we Imagined a world where every single bit or bite in our global networks is encrypted, both in transit and in rest. However, that world sounds far, far away. Why? you ask.
Let’s start by telling you a story about @Apple and its #iTunes business model decision. In order to control the usage of its downloaded songs ($0.99), Apple wanted an encrypted world. However, Apple engineers came back Steve Jobs with a conundrum; how do we enforce the rights to our songs if the files are transferred and shared with apps like #Napster? After a long conversation and a realization, it was not technically possible to control data in multiple ecosystems at the same time and in multi dimensions. Jobs and his team reluctantly decided to offer an all you can eat song playing service and that’s how Apple Music became the business model of choice. The tech was not as advanced then as it is now.
Our world has become complex and multidimensional and our data digital rights and our ability to control them are becoming a social right to any user, corporation, or governing body.
So, now, imagine a world that is fully automated using AI and Smart Contract bot operated networks that represent and enforces the rights of the users of the network down to the single attribute level. Taking the encrypted world and making it usable again.
Unlike Vicki from iRobot that had 3 directives which conflicted with how humans behave, every attempt or request to share data is automatically screened by One Creation’s DREAM Gatekeeper bot. It allows the user to decide if and what data to share with any application or party. Our unique environment entrusts the enforcement of these digital rights in multiple dimensions by attaching our Sentinel Bot to the data to ensure its safety…..
To encrypt or not to encrypt your whole world is no longer the question. How you architect your data and create a symbiotic relationship with your users to deduct business insights from their usage, while giving them control and transparency on their privacy, is the key to future success and security.
Future enterprises that fail to differentiate their #usercentric insights will #fail miserably
