Q1: What's your favorite thing about coming to work each day?

My favorite part of coming to work each day is collaborating with the amazing individuals across our organization. I’m constantly inspired by their input, guidance, expertise, and the excitement they bring to their roles. Everyone’s passion makes such a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Since we spend so much of our time together, I’m grateful to work with such dynamic and supportive teams. Their dedication motivates me to be my best every day.

Q2: What achievement at ORC are you most proud of?

One of the achievements I’m most proud of at ORC is being selected for the US 281 TxDOT project. This project, which spans 285 parcels over 30 miles, truly resonated with me from the moment it landed in my inbox. I was immediately drawn to the scope and location and put my heart into our proposal and presentation. Sometimes, you just know when something feels right, and this was one of those moments. When the project was awarded to our team, I was elated and so proud of everyone who contributed to bringing my vision to life. This project has been a highlight of my career and a testament to what we can accomplish as a team.

Q3: What do you enjoy most about the culture at ORC?

What I enjoy most about ORC’s culture is the way it inspires us to think and act like owners. Everyone takes pride in their work, embraces accountability, and contributes to the company’s success as if it were their own. The emphasis on “Invest in relationships” is another standout aspect, as it creates a supportive environment where collaboration and trust thrive. This focus on relationships extends beyond our teams to the clients and communities we serve, making our work even more meaningful. Ultimately, ORC’s culture is one that values growth, celebrates successes, and encourages everyone to lead with confidence and purpose.

Q4: Any hobbies or interests outside of work you'd like to share?

I love spending time with my two boys! We’re always on the hunt for new adventures, whether it’s hanging out with friends, going to monster truck shows, feeding giraffes, trying our hand at hunting, or enjoying lots of fishing. When I’m not with my kiddos, you can usually find me at a concert—live music truly fills my soul. I’m also hoping to get back into horseback riding soon. It was something I loved growing up, and I’m excited to rediscover that passion!

As Alyssia looks to the future with ORC, her focus remains on building strong relationships, empowering her teams, and driving meaningful results. From leading impactful projects like the US 281 TxDOT initiative to mentoring the next generation of professionals, Alyssia embodies the values of leadership, dedication, and stewardship. Outside of work, her love for new adventures with her sons and passion for live music reflect the vibrant energy she brings to every aspect of her life. ORC is proud to have such a passionate and driven leader shaping its future.
