Bold people do 9 things to be amazing in life.

Bold people do 9 things to be amazing in life.

Bold people captivate our attention with their confidence and determination.

They can calculate the risks of any major decision and forge ahead based on carefully considering the benefits.

They smile in the face of adversity and shake off anxiety effortlessly.

They refuse to let people’s opinion discourage them from pursuing their dreams and they shrug off setbacks as being part of the process.

Boldness is an admirable quality, without it, success is impossible.

What makes somebody bold?

Here are 9 characteristics of incredibly bold people:

“The doors will be opened to those who are bold enough to knock”.

Confident

Being bold requires tremendous confidence. It isn’t arrogance or bravado, it’s an authentic sense of self-worth based on an impeccable track record of success. You learn to trust your intuition and act accordingly. Imposters play the part but reek of insecurity. That’s not bold that’s weakness.

Uninhibited

Bold people speak up, even when it's unfashionable. They have strong beliefs based on critical thinking, not hyperbole based on conjecture and emotion. They don’t follow the crowd because they understand the crowd is a gathering of lost followers. Bold people are uninhibited about speaking their truth, and they seek "real facts" and "real science" to support their positions.

Honest

Withholding the truth is still a lie and being dishonest is a sign of cowardice. Bold people speak the truth and don’t spend their lives trying to cover up a litany of lies. In addition, they are honest with themselves and offer sincere self-appraisal, which is mandatory for self-improvement.

Achievers

Bold people take pride in their work and enjoy the process of learning. They aren’t ashamed to show off their work and share their achievements with their friends. They strive to be better and take satisfaction in their accomplishments. They understand the importance of celebrating our success.

Conviction

Bold people understand their priorities and don’t deviate from their convictions. I am not a drinker and never have been. I recall in college everyone trying to coerce me to drink. Not a chance. Bold people don’t acquiesce with their principles to appease the crowd. Ever!

Concise

Bold people set clear goals and work relentlessly to achieve them. They are concise about their priorities and don’t get easily distracted. They define specific goals and embrace the process of doing the hard work of success. They don’t give up until the work is done and they clearly understand the effort required to succeed.

Values

Bold people understand their values and don’t deviate just because it's convenient. That includes uncompromising character and integrity. Many people lack clarity when it comes to values, so they meander when tested and make poor decisions because they lack purpose. Bold people don’t change when their values are challenged.

Brave

Bold people are brave and refuse to let fear and self-doubt complicate their commitments. They face fear head on and mitigate the effects of self-doubt by forging ahead.  They understand momentum is the key to getting things done and they are brave about taking on new challenges.

Energy

Bold people have unparalleled energy. People can’t believe I got up at 2am seven days a week for 3 decades and slept less than 4 hours a day. I never missed a workout and made time for everything that mattered most. I understand the importance to sleep, but I’ve trained my energy to be off the charts and its nonnegotiable for being a successful entrepreneur. Bold people have incredible stamina and remarkable energy.

“Above all else, be daring, be bold, be unconventional”.
