Congratulations to Wendy Freestone for winning the AXA Art Prize UK 2024 and being awarded £10,000 for her outstanding figurative art, exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts’ Summer Exhibition. Jennifer Schipf, our Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Fine Art & Specie, chaired the judging panel at this year’s event, featuring 1,710 works. Wendy shares her inspiration behind her winning artwork, ‘The Quietest Moments’.
