In This Season of Gratitude...

Given the time of year, let’s talk about gratitude!  There are many things I’m grateful for this holiday season and here are a few:

1. First of all, as a former New Yorker, I am grateful for the amazing fall weather that we have in the Carolinas. The stunningly beautiful autumn colors, the Carolina blue sky, and the crisp, clear weather is so wonderful this time of year.
2. Next, I am grateful for all of the buyers and sellers that I have had the opportunity to work with this year and in past years. It has been such a privilege helping my clients achieve their real estate goals.
3. I am also grateful that real estate appraisers are finally starting to see and understand that we are in a rising market as well as a sellers market!
4. My gratitude extends to all of the closing attorneys, real estate appraisers, lenders, handymen, contractors, and home inspectors that I’ve had the opportunity to work with this year. They have been such a help to me and to my clients.
5. I am so thankful that this year, we began to see Charlotte address issues such as affordable housing and working on controlling the staggering growth that we’ve seen in the metropolitan area which extends into York and Lancaster counties, South Carolina, north towards Lake Norman, west to Belmont and Gaston county and to the east as well.  The Union county bypass has made travel in and around the Monroe area much easier!
6. I am so glad that the city is expanding parks and greenways that we have throughout the Charlotte area. The city has been working on connecting the city to the suburbs with the Cross Charlotte Trail which is an asset to the greater Charlotte area. 
7. Finally, I am grateful for the time that I will have this holiday season to spend with friends, family, and clients too!

I hope you spend some time reflecting on what you’re grateful for this holiday season and I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and a holiday season filled with friends, family and fun!
