Advanced Trial Advocacy Intensive, Sydney 2024

The Advocacy Training Council of the Australian Bar Association delivered its 2024 offering for trial barristers of 5 years' plus Call in Sydney between 22 and 26 January at the Courts Complex. 40 Advocates from across Australia, from Singapore, the Uk and New Zealand completed the demanding five day programme. Faculty was drawn from Australia, NZ, South Africa, Singapore and Malaysia and included senior Silks and Junior Counsel, present and retired judges. The Intensive was directed by Grant Brady SC who, in a Course first, was appointed mid-Intensive to the District Court of NSW.

The ATC congratulates all participants for successfully completing the programme and looks forward to reprising that programme in Brisbane in January 2025.
