2/3 of my state in Brazil is underwater now because of the rain and flooding! +80 deaths, +100 people missing, thousands of people/animals in shelters after being rescued. It's devastating 💚💔💛 there is no drinking water, there are still people on rooftops waiting to be rescued, they are starving, there is no way to reach them and the mainstream media is not showing any of this to the world. The forecast is also not good, it will take days for the water levels to return to normal. 🆘 we need your help! Tips to help you make the most of the largest free-entry event in Wales

In 1911, two groups of explorers embarked on a remarkable journey and a very dangerous adventure: exploring the South Pole. The first group was led by Roald Amundsen, a Norwegian explorer. The second group was led by Robert Scott, a former British naval officer. Roald’s Plan: Roald meticulously planned the expedition well in advance. He decided to use sledges pulled by dogs and had experts in dog handling with him. He divided the journey into sections of 20 miles, to be covered in 6 hours daily, leaving the rest of the day for rest—for both the team and the dogs. He also equipped his team with the best clothing and gear available. Remarkably, the only issue Roald’s team faced was a team member developing a tooth infection, which required extraction! Robert’s Approach: What did Robert do? First, he decided to replace dogs with motorized sledges and horses! Unsurprisingly, the sledges broke down after just five days, and the horses couldn’t function effectively in unfamiliar and harsh conditions. Robert didn’t pay sufficient attention to his team’s clothing or its quality, which led to severe issues—for instance, one team member developed a severe foot infection resembling diabetic gangrene. Even the protective goggles were of poor quality. What happened next? After enduring severe hardships and losing most of his team members, Robert’s group finally reached the South Pole—only to find a letter from Roald, informing them that he had arrived a month earlier! And it didn’t end there. Robert and the remaining members of his team perished on their way back, just a few kilometers from their final camp, in one of the most tragic disasters in the history of exploration. The details of the ordeal were documented in Robert’s diary, which was found next to him. The Lesson: When you are in a position of responsibility, no matter how big or small, you must take full accountability for your team. You are responsible for their skills and development, but more importantly, for their safety. You cannot, for example, take them on a journey in a car with faulty brakes. Your drive to achieve personal success or satisfy your ego should never push you recklessly in a direction that endangers the people with you.
