Lenksart is making money from the Poor Vision of People! The staff of Lenskart lacks the expertise to conduct an eye test. Last year, when I went for the regular eye test, they said that both my eyesight was weak (near and far) Even though I have been wearing spectacles for near-sightedness for more than 12 years and don't require lenses for far-sightedness Poor vision for both sights is a rare condition, and age usually plays an important role in it. When I went to the other Lenskart store, they said my lens number was the same (for near-sightedness) I felt betrayed as a customer. A few days back, when I took my mom to the Lenskart They said she might have Cataract and need immediate attention. When we went to the Doctor to clear the doubt, he said there was no issue Also, the test done by Lenskart was wrong in terms of the correct lens number and axis. Indeed, that is why people are choosing more experts who don't give any discount but are not playing with the VISION of the people. When we pay a lumpsum amount for any particular product, it's not just the material or the style. It is also for a decent quality of customer service. A close friend of mine was curious as to why I buy my prescription glasses from stores that are a little heavy on my pocket (It's not Gucci or Versace, but hey, look at the economy). Why not get it from places like Lenskart? They are pocket friendly, have durable material and are pretty stylish too. The reason, I tell him, is quite simple. Once, I was on my way back from work when I felt my glasses sitting a little odd on my nose. I was in the metro, and got quite nervous about the situation. Things got worse when my glasses just broke.. I am visually compromised. I have the natural vision of a buffering Youtube video at 144p and I cannot avail contact lenses because they don't suit me. I got off a station earlier and walked into the nearest Lenskart shop at Green Park metro. The lady who was in charge barely listened to me as I explained my predicament. I am exasperated and panicked, and she refused to acknowledge any of it because she was too busy on her phone. Fortunately, a young gentleman came to my aid and pleaded with his senior (the lady) to file a request. It had been 6 months since I bought the glasses and mind you, there was not a single scratch on it. I regret saving that extra amount of money I saved, buying from Lenskart.com. Not only has their quality degraded, but so has their customer service executive training process. It is disheartening to see people deal with consumers who have vision problems with such insensitivity.

Hi Lenskart.com Peyush Bansal I want to escalate a highly frustrating and disappointing experience my family has had with Lenskart. Despite spending ₹22,200 for glasses for my mother, we are still left without a usable solution, and the behavior of your store staff has been appalling. In mid-September, my parents visited the Sector 56, Gurgaon store. My mother clearly asked for bifocals, but the staff insisted that she should get progressive lenses, claiming they were better and "customized." Trusting their advice, she went ahead with progressives. When the glasses arrived, they were completely unusable. My mother couldn’t use them at all, and we returned to the store. Only then did the staff admit progressives weren’t suitable for her needs. They offered to replace them with bifocals, which arrived in October. This is where the real ordeal began: 1. The bifocal glasses were poorly made. The near-vision curve was positioned at the corner of the lens, making them unusable. 2. The staff blamed the frame selection, even though they had guided her during the initial visit. 3. They suggested choosing another frame but showed us only a limited selection of unsuitable and unattractive frames. My mother had no real choice but to reluctantly pick one they recommended. The second replacement arrived in November, and the same issues persisted: The near-vision curve was still misplaced. My mother couldn’t read or drive with the glasses and developed severe headaches and swelling around her eyebrows after trying to adjust to them. When she returned to the store last week, the staff’s behavior was unacceptable: They refused to offer any solution, claiming, “This is just how Lenskart makes bifocals.” They admitted the manufacturing process doesn’t allow for customization based on customer needs, contradicting Lenskart’s claims of advanced technology and personalized care. They dismissed her concerns, effectively leaving her to bear the cost of glasses she cannot use. This experience has been mentally and physically exhausting for my mother, and the indifference shown by the store staff has only made it worse. We trusted Lenskart with something as essential as vision, but your team has failed at every step — from pushing unnecessary products to failing to deliver a usable pair of glasses and finally refusing to take accountability or provide a solution. I hope you take this matter seriously and intervene immediately. Vision care is not something to be taken lightly, and the current approach at Lenskart is far from acceptable. Lenskart.com Peyush Bansal I would like to highlight a tech glitch in lenskart. I had ordered 2 eyeglasses on 6th May with order ID 1287461357. I had ordered this for an event, i did not get it’s delivery even till now. I called the customer care regarding same on 11th May and they said they’ll look into it, I got a call today and the executive said that my order is cancelled and nothing can be done. Few things to highlight- 1. The reason he gave for cancellation was that my order didn’t show up in your system and hence your system couldn’t integrate. I had ordered this from lenskart store so not sure why your system didn’t integrate. 2. I got to know this only once i raised a concern with your team, there was no Communication from your end. Needless to say, i won’t be able to use my new specs because of the tech issues, would have been better if i would have gone to some nearby vision express which would have avoided this tech issue.

I recently had an eye-opening experience at a Lenskart.com store in #madurai that left me utterly disappointed. Upon visiting the store to purchase a pair of sunglasses, I was excited to find two options that I truly liked. Being particular about Polarized glasses, I made sure to select the ones that met this requirement. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I discovered that fresh pieces of these pairs were not available in-store. Despite this setback, I decided to proceed with the purchase after being assured by a salesperson that they could arrange for fresh pairs. However, I was taken aback when I was informed that these fresh pairs would be tagged as "customized" - despite there being no actual customization involved. To add insult to injury, I was asked to pay an additional Rs. 1500 on top of the original price for this so-called "customization". When I raised concerns about scratches on one of the pairs, another salesperson insisted that I purchase it regardless. Refusing to settle for subpar quality, I requested to see if another store had the same pair in sellable condition. However, upon further investigation, I discovered that if the pair were to undergo customization, they would no longer remain Polarized but instead be plain glasses with zero power (I do not have power). This revelation left me feeling deceived and cheated. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, I was met with rude dismissal from the salesperson who refused to acknowledge the issue. Mr. Peyush Bansal, I bring this to your attention in hopes that Lenskart will uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction. If customization is offered as an option, it should be tailored to meet the customer's needs, without compromise. Additionally, the "one plus one" offer is misleading and does little to instill trust in the brand, as customers end up paying for both frames despite being advertised as "free". It's time for Lenskart.com to prioritize transparency and integrity in its practices to regain the trust of its customers.
