You have probably heard countless experts discuss topics like "the future of artificial intelligence" and "what is AGI." But I guarantee you have never heard anyone quite like Prof. Henrik von Scheel, the father of Industry 4.0 and former chairman of the Fourth Industrial Revolution at the World Economic Forum. If you're curious about how future industry ecosystems will evolve, you need to listen to his latest talk on my podcast, "Talks at Innovation Valley." Trust me—you will thank me later. 🎧 Episode link below👇 https://lnkd.in/dHYNatyD

Anyone working in climate can benefit from the frameworks of thinking in this podcast with Dr. Rajiv Shah and Steven Levitt. Why? Because it's about thinking big and bold in times of crisis. Because it's about measuring success well and being transparent about the data, especially on problematic areas. Because it's about getting on the ground and truly operating from a sense of purpose to galvanize teams to do the right thing. Because it's about being creative when problems arise. I was immensely impressed with Dr. Shah. Worthwhile pod. Some great stories too: his story about going into the oval office for the first time, about being at the Gates Foundation at the start of his career. Just listen! Bonus: there's a Steven Levitt aside at the end about how childcare is a thorny issue, because it's expensive, but individuals don't get paid much. And so he opined on how if he were a CEO, he'd offer onsite daycare as a differentiator, and I have seen that happen at Patagonia and agree that it's awesome and would likely get more people in the office. (he's thinking similarly to Jenna Johnson!)
When we make big bets on the right innovations and ideas, we can fundamentally solve some of the biggest challenges facing humanity. That is what I talked to Freakonomics author Steven Levitt about on his podcast “People I (Mostly) Admire.” At a moment when humanity is facing challenges and opportunities of many shapes and sizes, I think our conversation will give you reason for optimism and ideas for how to solve the problems you face. Give it a listen and let me know what you think: https://lnkd.in/emjJEKcn
