🦞 Happy World Lobster Day! 🦞 Today holds a special place in my heart and my personal journey. I started the day playing my own character “Lobsy” in the Bubble Ranger game reflecting on how life, like design, is full of transformations. It’s fascinating to think that in the 1770s, lobster was considered a “poor man’s meal,” reserved for prisoners, apprentices, and enslaved people due to its abundance. Later it was “soldiers food” with WW2. Fast forward to today, and it’s now a delicacy, symbolizing luxury and celebration. This shift reminds me that life is all about perspective and change. Just like the evolution of lobster’s status, our own journeys are filled with unexpected turns. We may not always win at everything we desire, but it’s those changes and challenges that help us grow, redefine ourselves, and find new meaning in what we do. Today, I’m celebrating all the Lobsy moments—the small yet significant steps that shape our unique paths. Let’s honor our personal growth and resilience, and embrace the transformations life and design bring, because today is the day of the lobster!
