This is an important organization and they deserve our attention. $ex trafficking in the U.S. is a multi-billion dollar industry. We should never have to defend ourselves against this. Defend our children. They are our greatest asset. While you are at it, get involved in your local school board meetings. You can learn quite a bit by attending them or watching them online. If you pay property taxes in FL, you should know what children are being taught in school (are your taxes going strictly for reading, writing and sciences or are they going towards "social engineering and indoctrination"). No, this is not a political post. This is a human interest post. Again, children are our greatest asset. PLEASE PROTECT THEM FROM ALL GROOMING, NO MATTER WHERE IT MAY HAPPEN.

We’re working with northern communities to build Indigenous Search and Rescue capacity in Arctic waters!   Through the Indigenous SAR training program, nine members of our Auxiliary from Nunavik and Nunatsiavut recently completed the Arctic marine search and rescue training course in Parry Sound, Ontario.   These long-term partnerships and collaborative courses with community volunteers help us learn from each other and play an important role in safeguarding our communities and Arctic waters. ❄️

This year’s theme, “Navigating the future: safety first” highlights an industry-wide commitment to enhancing maritime safety and security. This theme resonates with us at the Canadian Coast Guard/Garde côtière canadienne, reflecting our own motto: “Safety First, Service Always.” Equally, this year marks the 50th anniversary of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), the principal international treaty concerning the safety of merchant ships.
