Puasa Enam (six-day fast) I believe many people have returned home and begun working, and their children have begun attending school as of today, Monday, 15 April. I believe many individuals are only starting to observe the six-day optional fast today, for which the reward is like fasting for a year after completing the obligatory fast for the entire month of Ramadan. This is an incredibly fantastic reward. The six-day fast may be challenging for some people to observe because many will be celebrating Hari Raya (Eid) with coworkers at lunch break. Invitations may come from several units within the same organisation. The Raya festivities will last till the end of the month of Syawal since several businesses and non-business organisations will hold open houses, which is a fantastic idea in any case. Weekends can be packed with events, such as attending open houses, wedding receptions, and visiting relatives and friends. I believe that in order to begin and finish the six days of fasting during the month of Shawwal, careful planning is necessary. "Trip Guarantee: Worth It or Just a Gimmick?" Recently, while booking my Diwali train from Delhi to Patna on MakeMyTrip, I came across a new feature: #TripGuarantee. What is Trip Guarantee?  🤔 With this feature, you’re promised a 3x return on your ticket price,1x to your souce account and 2x as a MakeMyTrip voucher if your ticket doesn’t get confirmed. Sounds good, right? But here’s the catch: Ticket Cost: ₹1850 Trip Guarantee Premium: ₹900 When my ticket wasn’t confirmed, I got a ₹3700 coupon. But considering the ₹900 premium I’d paid, the effective voucher value was only ₹2800. The voucher comes with illogical restrictions: Travel must be within 7 days from the issue date, between the original source and destination by train/bus/cab/flight. Options: Train (hard to get a ticket within 7 days), Bus (an 18-20 hour journey), or Flight (often costly on short notice). Let's not talk about Cab. For example, my flight option would have cost ₹12,000, minus the ₹3700 voucher, leaving me to pay ₹8,300. So, even with a “3x return,” it felt like a complicated trade-off—I didn’t end up with the flexibility or benefit I expected. In a Product role, I appreciate the creativity behind this upsell strategy—it’s clever, undeniably. But when it leaves users feeling misled, the impact backfires, and the strategy ultimately loses its value.

Festivals around the world come with extended time off: > United States, Canada, and European countries: 10-14 days for Christmas and New Year (December 24 to January 1) > Middle Eastern countries, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt: 10-15 days for Eid-al-Fitr (dates vary based on the lunar calendar) >Thailand: 7-10 days for Songkran (April 13-15, with some regions extending up to April 19) Yet in 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚, many of us have 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑎 𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑙𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑜𝑓𝑓 𝑑𝑢𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑖𝑤𝑎𝑙𝑖. This often means battling unavailable tickets, skyrocketing prices, or simply the impossibility of traveling home.
