Why will bricks and motar business that integrate fiat payment systems go bust why is it a pattern ? #AskGPT #SuperPatternRecognizer Brick-and-mortar businesses that rely heavily on fiat payment systems may face a greater risk of going bust because of several key trends and shifts: 1. Increasing Operational Costs: Fiat systems often come with higher transaction fees (credit card processing, banking fees), which eat into profit margins. As more businesses shift to digital currencies with lower fees, those sticking with fiat payments face a competitive disadvantage. 2. Slow Transaction Speed and Global Competition: Fiat payment systems are slower for cross-border transactions, which puts businesses at a disadvantage against those integrating faster, more efficient blockchain-based or digital payment systems, allowing for quicker scaling and global reach. 3. Demand for Flexibility and Convenience: Customers increasingly prefer digital payment options, including cryptocurrencies, e-wallets, and contactless payments. Businesses that don't adapt to this growing demand can lose customers who prefer more flexible, decentralized payment options. 4. Inflation and Currency Instability: Fiat currencies are susceptible to inflation, devaluation, and political instability. Businesses relying solely on fiat payments may struggle to maintain stable value in their assets, especially if their local currency weakens. 5. Disintermediation: Blockchain and crypto systems offer direct, peer-to-peer payments without intermediaries. This removes the need for traditional banking and payment processors, enabling lower costs and faster transactions for businesses that integrate them. Those not adopting such systems may see their models become outdated. 6. Emerging Decentralized Finance (DeFi): DeFi solutions are rapidly growing, offering businesses new ways to manage capital, access liquidity, and handle payments without the reliance on traditional banking. Those who rely solely on fiat systems may fall behind as DeFi continues to revolutionize finance. This pattern reflects the broader transformation in the financial ecosystem, where businesses slow to adapt risk losing out to more agile, tech-forward competitors.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all 🦃 Historical Facts: On hundred years ago in 1924 on Thanksgiving Day, the department store celebration launched what is known as "Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade" has become a tradition and annual national sensation. Although the Thanksgiving Day parade was a publicity and a marketing stunt, the employees of Macy's were first-generation immigrants! Mostly comprising of European immigrants, Central Park zoo animals, and circus clowns which evolved into a long-standing tradition to mark the start of the season. The only time this parade was ever canceled was in 1942 WWII and resumed in 1945 when the war ended. Even after JFK's assassination in 1963, the parade four days after was not cancelled. A Vital Message: The value of Immigrants to the U.S. Innovation - Immigrants have developed new technologies and started new businesses at higher rates than U.S. born individuals. Immigrants represent 16% of U.S. inventors and produce 23% of total innovation output. https://lnkd.in/eSX6vqtR Economic Activity - Immigrants' total contribution exceeded $2 Trillion in economic activity in 2022 which is approximately 8% of the U.S. GDP. Agriculture = 25%, Construction = 1 in 4 workers, Healthcare = 15.6% of nurses and 27.7% of all health aides, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) = 20% Taxes - Immigrants paid $579.1 Billion in local, state, and federal taxes, including $35.1 Billion taxes paid by undocumented households in 2022 and paid into Social Security and Medicare taxes while being excluded from receiving these retirement benefits. https://lnkd.in/eVqWQXbU #FAFO #StopTrumpFascism #StopTrumpVance2025 #Resist #HumanRights https://lnkd.in/e6KqJYFQ

Wawa is traveling south. Philadelphia's famed convenience stores are expanding into the Southern and Midwestern states. According to Bloomberg, the renowned convenience-store business associated with Philadelphia and Jersey pride aims to add 280 new locations in the South and Midwest. The Wawa Factor Many people like eating Wawa's contentious pizza or Built-to-Order hoagies, often using the garbage cans as improvised tables. But don't be fooled—Wawa's restrooms are famously clean. Since its inception in 1964 by the rich Wood family, Wawa has become a cult favorite among Philadelphians, South Jerseyites, and inhabitants of the mid-Atlantic states and Florida. Now, the Woods are hoping that visitors from North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, and Indiana would rush to its doors as quickly as Rocky did up those stairs. Big Picture: According to Bloomberg, Wawa told employees, who control 38% of the company, that it intends to have a presence in every state eventually. #wawa #poolerga #business #socialmedia #engageecho #conveniencestore
