The aircraft was delivered while located at the Airbus facility in Mobile, Alabama. This is the first of three (3) aircraft contracted for delivery to Breeze Airways™ from SMBC Aviation Capital. CDB Aviation, a subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing, has successfully sold two Airbus A330-200 aircraft to National Airlines. These widebody jets, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, will support National's growing fleet and expanding charter services. This issue - reportedly identified by Cathay with a Rolls Royce manufactured engine - is not going to be welcome news for airlines operating A350s. But this sort of story has wider ramifications. Our Aviation Disputes team has already seen a sharp increase in cases involving problems with manufacturing and with airframe/engine maintenance and repair work.
