The event left me with invaluable takeaways on the future of global growth, technology, and leadership. Key Points from Jim Yong Kim’s Lecture: ✨ The Impact of AI on Jobs: Kim predicts that artificial intelligence could affect or even eliminate up to 60% of jobs in advanced economies. His message? Instead of fearing AI, we should see it as an opportunity to reinvent and upskill ourselves. 🌐 Mental Health Challenges for Gen Z: With rising digital interactions and social media use, particularly affecting young girls, the need for strong, face-to-face human connections is more crucial than ever. Kim’s insights underscore the importance of support systems and coaching in today’s world. 💡 The Need for Great Leadership: Kim highlighted that in order to harness the benefits of technological advancement, we need visionary leaders who can inspire and take decisive action.
