The video I created for Rock Engineering Limited stand at Naidex to give a glimpse of our journey and what RockClimber is all about This isn't about "independence" and "mobility" like your daily use powerchair, though it certainly does provide this, and RockClimber certainly is not trying to be one. Instead, the word I keep using to describe what I feel and it gives the user is, "freedom"!! It gives you the freedom to pretty much go where you want in the countryside and introduces you to a world of adventuring, which is both exhilarating and freeing. There are so many options and opportunities open to Rock Engineering Limited and any potential investors or organisations looking to use RockClimber, so people can hire it out or take people away on powerchair adventuring weekends/breaks away. For now though, we're starting to look for businesses interested in partnering with us for the Mt Snowdon challenge and adventures beyond, as Snowdon is but the beginning to demonstrate proof of concept and it's capabilities. A New Chapter Begins! I’ve made a big move! After over 11 years with DIS - CREADIS Engineering Solutions & Consulting, I decided it was time for a change. When the company rolled out a new organizational structure in October, I took a step back to reflect and realized that it was the perfect moment to explore something new. I chose not to be part of the new setup, giving myself the space to figure out where my next adventure should take me. First, a huge thank you to everyone at DIS. The friendships, the challenges, and the opportunities have shaped me in ways I’ll always be grateful for. It’s been a true privilege to work alongside such talented, passionate people! So, what’s next? After many coffees and some reflective conversations with a lot of good people, I’m excited to announce that I’m joining BattMan Energy, a company at the forefront of the renewable energy transition. I'll be helping to build a business focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and how they integrate with renewable energy solutions in co-located environments. The work we’ll be doing is not just innovative – it’s crucial for the future of our planet 🌍🔋 I’m beyond thrilled to join such a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
