If you are like me, Black Friday can feel overwhelming. The endless sales, flashy discounts, and “limited-time” offers are pulling at your attention. It is easy to feel pressure to spend. Before diving into the sea of deals, take a moment to ask yourself: “𝑊𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑝𝑢𝑟𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑎𝑑𝑑 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒?” This simple question can serve as your compass to navigate you toward the right financial decisions. It’s not about depriving yourself but about shopping with intention. By focusing on value—whether it’s a need, a thoughtful gift, or something that genuinely brings joy—you can avoid the regret of overspending or buying items that collect dust. Financial peace isn’t about skipping the sales; it’s about making the 𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑎𝑣𝑒 work for you, not against you. So before you swipe that card, take a breath, reflect, and shop with your future self in mind. 🛍️✨

The long-awaited Black Friday is starting tomorrow, and everywhere you turn, there’s one deal or another calling your name. While some people use Black Friday wisely to save money on things they need, others end up spending way more than they planned. Why? Because of something called impulse buying. Before you hit that “buy” button, ask yourself the following: Click the link below 👇🏻 to access full article https://lnkd.in/dCPjHMAW #blackfriday #ttsinitiative

Spotting a great Black Friday deal might be harder than you think – especially after Which? reported that 98% of products that were on sale in 2021 were cheaper or the same as their Black Friday price at other times in the year. In fact, 86% of the items had also been the same price or cheaper in the six months before Black Friday. ⚠️ Black Friday is on November 29th ⚠️ But is it really the ultimate money-saving event, or just a clever ploy to make us spend more? 🤔 Here’s the truth… Retailers often create urgency with "one-day-only" deals, but similar discounts happen throughout the year! 🗓️ Some retailers raise prices before Black Friday, only to "slash" them later for dramatic effect! 📈📉 Black Friday can be a great opportunity to save, but only if you’re buying things you genuinely need or planned to buy at full price anyway! ✅ Impulse buys? They don’t save you money, they waste it, because a 50% discount on something you don’t need isn’t a deal, it’s a loss! ❌ Are you buying anything this Black Friday? 💬

2 more sleeps until the barrage of Black Friday emails start! Love it or hate it, it's a promotion that's here to stay, so why not embrace it. Use it as a time to reward your loyal customers ❤️ Use it as a time to clear underperforming lines 👚 Use it as a time to increase footfall and bring new customers to your brand 🤗 Whatever you do don't ignore it, it's here to stay so make the most of it. It's much better to be a retailer who embraces key sale events than one who runs offer after offer, as that erodes far more than just your bottom line. It errodes customer confidence and without that you don't have a business.

How many Black Friday emails have you received so far? Having witnessed a bargain hunter get injured in the pursuit of a reduced North Face jacket, LWC Headmaster, Adam Williams has a few thoughts on this yearly shopping spectacle. "Black Friday is less about what we truly need and more about the thrill of the hunt. It’s the suggestion that if we just buy more, own more, or spend more, we’ll finally feel fulfilled. Spoiler alert: You won’t. That air fryer might improve your hash browns, but it’s not going to fill your cup of optimism and bring about the associated long life. Long-term joy isn’t hiding in that heavily discounted sofa and your godson doesn’t need another remote-controlled car; he needs your time and attention, which, as it happens, are free." You can read more (as you add to your shopping cart...or not) in his latest Headmaster's Blog here: https://lnkd.in/e4kAUMnP

Tis the season of shopping and gifts. Black Friday will soon descend upon us in a black swarm of emails and ads. Honest confession: I don't work to buy stuff. And I barely ever shop. I used to. There was a point in my life where I thought owning nice things was the whole point. And I understand people who are living in really sub-par conditions that these things matter a lot. But today my goals and perspective about wealth has drastically changed. Success by my definition isn't what you own but what you've built. I want to be known, respected, and remembered. It's a whole different level of measuring success. Sure, I want to live in good conditions but I care a lot less about purchasing things or showing them off than many around me. Maybe moving around and having to give away or sell almost everything was part of it. Whatever it is, I'll re-invest into my business, team, coaching, courses, community, education, or experiences any day over buying more "stuff." Who's with me?
