In this season of gratitude, we’re feeling especially thankful for the incredible people who make our work possible, including the newest members of our team, Talia Seabold, our Senior Executive Assistant & Board Administrator, and Bethany Wilt, our Community Advisory Council Manager. These past two years have been amazing - full of personal and professional growth, amazing partners and new relationships, and working with an all-star team! I can't wait to see what the next two years bring for Creating Community Consulting! #organizationalculture #communitydriven #collaboration #communitygrowth
Part of what makes community-driven work meaningful is the people who we have the privilege to work with. On Friday, June 28th, we celebrated a big milestone – 2 years of collaboration, grassroots community projects, and a growing network of partners across North Dakota and Minnesota. Our friends over at the Frazee-Vergas Forum captured the spirit of the afternoon and our awe in this moment of growth: https://lnkd.in/e9VjvVuV We couldn’t have done this without an amazing team, one that keeps expanding! This month, we welcome four new members to the Creating Community Consulting Family, in a new space in downtown Frazee: Jamie Crabtree, Heather Ware Nelson, Shelly Blauert, and Amy Kilde. They join Karen Dowing and Sophia Strand, alongside Karen Pifher in the amazing community work happening throughout Becker County! Please stop by the office to say hello if you find yourself in the area (especially on a Friday from 2:30-5:30pm) and stay tuned as we share more about our team’s focus areas of work with us this summer and beyond! #CommunityDriven #Grassroots #Collaboration #TeamExpansion #CommunityProjects #Networking #LocalLeadership #CommunityGrowth #NorthDakota #Minnesota #Frazee #BeckerCounty #CommunityConsulting #NewBeginnings #Celebration #CommunityImpact #JoinUs #WelcomeNewMembers #CreatingCommunity #CommunityPartners

Community relationships are everything.
Feeling thankful for the good people I get to engage with in the community. There have been so many, but here's an example of a couple of good people. I was lucky to have served in multiple capacities within the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce with Shonie Christensen and Sara Otto. I have learned so much from each of them and think the world of them. Each is passionate about our area and wanting all of us to succeed. Despite coming from different industries, we come together with a unified purpose. Thank you! #community #stgeorgeutah #gratitude

At Forward Ability Support we are always looking at how we can improve outcomes for those that we support including supporting research into SCI and the associated conditions.
Recently a member of our team Keith McNaughton met residents, staff and clinicians at Ferguson Lodge, run by Forward Ability Support It was a great opportunity to meet everyone, give an update on our current trials and studies, and to invite everyone to participate in exciting research. Thanks to Sharis Matevossian Doumit (Community Engagement Manager) and Sarah (Director of Home and Living Supports) for hosting the morning and particularly the residents for meeting with us.

Uplift, Empower, Unite: Mary McLean for a Brighter Sault Tribe 🔊 Attention Tribal Members: It's time for accountability within our Sault Tribe Board of Directors. We need our directors to prioritize attendance at all meetings in person, unless there are exceptional circumstances. While technology is a great tool, there's no substitute for being physically present. When our leaders commit to being somewhere, it's crucial they follow through. It's disheartening when they fail to represent us effectively, leaving team members to explain their absence. Just as we expect our employees to be reliable, our BOD members must also fulfill their duties. Accountability starts at the top, and as your potential Unit One representative, I pledge to lead by example. If elected, I'll always show up and step up for our tribe. Hold me accountable, as I'm committed to being a true voice for our community. Let's ensure our BOD members uphold their responsibilities to our people, organization, and stakeholders. Together, we can demand the accountability our tribe deserves.⏳

Recently was “bombarded” by the algorithm on social media about public goodness….. in particular about folks all dressed to the Ts representing companies, orgs or political parties touting involvement in public good at staged speeches or high-end hosted dining events, etc. Convincing? IMHO not! The promotion of altruism or good causes shouldn’t be a projection of seemingly counterproductive glamourous imageries against the orginal organizational intent. Do not forget that you are not “the star” but the cause is. The most shining example of #PublicGood or be involved in a #CompanyOfGood is still this:

😊 CES is very pleased that the findings of our #evaluation of the pilot phase of the Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP) model have informed the national roll out of this important initiative. The evaluation was a formative and summative evaluation. The formative evaluation findings were reported while the pilots were unfolding and informed the real-time implementation of the LCSP model. The summative evaluation captured the learning and early impact of the LCSPs at the end of the pilot period. Overall, the evaluation findings indicate that the LCSP model fits well with the Government’s vision for building stronger and safe communities, and community safety as a whole of Government responsibility with the community voice/involvement as a core feature. The final report sets out recommendations for consideration by the Department of Justice and LCSPs. The recommendations include drawing up a detailed Implementation Plan for the nationwide roll out of LCSPs over the next 5 years, the need for good oversight arrangements for #implementation, and the further development of reliable and useful #data to inform implementation. You can read more about the evaluation here: https://lnkd.in/eUVKypDv
Today I am very pleased that seven Local Authorities have already appointed voluntary chairs of the new Community Safety Partnerships. I want to congratulate Brendan McGrath, Pat Forde, Ciarán Reid, Marian Quinn, Mari Casserly, Noel Coonan, and Seamus Boyle on their appointments as Chairperson of their respective partnerships. I know that they each bring unique experience and expertise to the role, and that they will all work to drive forward the work of their partnerships. I look forward to the continued successful rollout of the remaining partnerships nationwide in the coming months. 🔗 - https://lnkd.in/eAptTCYb Department of Justice
