🏏Completed in 2021, the Compton & Edrich stands at Lord’s Cricket Ground, designed by WilkinsonEyre, enhance capacity, accessibility, and the spectator experience. At 24m high, they are the tallest at the venue, adding 2,600 seats to bring the total capacity to 31,180. The design incorporates sustainable features, with 50% of the seating re-used, alongside improved amenities such as pitch-facing restaurants and hospitality suites. The architecture respects both historic and modern elements, featuring steel columns and a canopy with radiating ribs and timber supports, complementing the nearby J.P. Morgan Media Centre.
