Congrats on the progress! Every bit helps. As of today's date, wildfires have burned 1,049,956 acres in CA in 2024 and 8,851,142 ac in the US. We need to restore good fire at a scale that can overtake the current severe wildfire influence. Prescribed burning cannot do enough fast enough. Are we applying enough Indigenous cultural burning? Are wildfires working hard enough for us? And are we taking advantage of the positive work of wildfires? https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378112721007702 https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378112721008872 https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/s42408-024-00282-y
