We advised Tesi on the establishment of a project company, Arctial, to explore the feasibility of a significant low-carbon aluminium production investment in Finland. The project aims to construct a new production facility in the Kokkola and Kruunupyy region, which would be the first new primary aluminium production plant in continental Europe in over 30 years.   The project seeks to increase the supply of low-carbon aluminium in Europe, meeting the rising demand and supporting the region's industrial capabilities. Frontieras North America, a leader in energy technology, has secured a $150M equity investment commitment from GEM Global Yield LLC SCS. The funds will accelerate Frontieras' growth strategy through acquisitions, partnerships, and organic initiatives. Frontieras' patented Solid Carbon Fractionation (SCF) technology extracts maximum value from coal and other hydrocarbons, splitting them into gases, liquid fuels, and technical carbon with a lower carbon footprint than conventional refining. The investment will support Frontieras' plans to build a state-of-the-art facility in Mason County, West Virginia, with an investment of $850 million. The facility will create 200 full-time jobs and 2,000 construction jobs, boosting the local economy.
