You should make it a habit to interview every year. Here's why regular interviews can be transformative, even if you're satisfied with your current role: ➡️ Interviews push you to effectively communicate your strengths, accomplishments, and growth areas. This isn't just beneficial for job interviews but for overall career development. ➡️ Interviews give you insight into your market value, industry trends, and opportunities that align with your long-term career goals. ➡️ By regularly putting yourself in high-pressure situations, you improve your ability to handle rejection and strengthen your communication and negotiation skills. Share this with your network to spread the benefits. #CareerGrowth #JobSearch #ThinkSage Connect: Fahad Ahsan

🌟 Navigating Job Interviews: The Power of Asking Questions 🌟 Whilst it might seem a little laborious, always prepare a fresh set of questions for the next round of interviews, especially if there is a new attendee to your upcoming session. Some of my generic favourites: 📅 "What would my first 30-60-90 days look like?" 🧑🤝🧑 "Can you tell me more about the team I would be working in?" 📈 "How is success measured in this role?" 🎯 "What attributes does someone need to have to be successful in this position/organisation?" 💪🏻 "What are the team’s biggest strengths and challenges?" 💚 "What are the company’s most important values?" Asking questions shows you're engaged and serious about the role, as well as allowing you to assess if the company is a place where you can thrive both personally and professionally. Good luck! 💼🚀 #JobInterviews #CareerAdvice #InterviewPrep

First Impressions: One Shot to Shine Ever feel like you only get one chance to make a good first impression? Well, for job interviews, that's kinda true. This week, I saw over 20 interviews, and while most were great, some could have used a little prep boost. Listen up, entry-level job seekers: Be INTERVIEW READY, you never know when that call might come. Here's why: Employers make snap judgments: Those first few minutes are crucial. Show them you are prepared and professional. Preparation is key: Research the company, practice answering common questions, and dress for success. First impressions are lasting: A strong showing can set you apart from the competition. Being ready shows initiative and makes a positive impact. Remember, it's all about putting your best foot forward. #BePrepared #LandTheJob #JobSearch #EntryLevel #Firstimpression #Techjobs #Opportunities #InterviewTips

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝, 𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬. Avoid talking about your personal goals outside of your job or career. The person interviewing you wants to understand your interest and commitment should you be offered the role and decide to join them. Instead focus the conversation on the role and company you're being interviewed for: - development of your skills within the role - career goals related to the role - avoid being too goal specific eg. promotion within x amount of time - the benefits the company will receive should you be offered the role It can be easy to lose focus on why you are being interviewed. Make sure you prepare for 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 interview and understand what they will be looking for. Also, make sure you ask questions as well so that the time isn't wasted for both parties. #interviewgoals #interviewpreparation #interviewawareness
