📢 Squarespace is hiring for a remote Customer Support Associate! Yes, it was posted a day ago... Yes, the one-click apply on LinkedIn says over 100 have applied. I get that this can feel a little frustrating because it's so easy to throw in an "application." If you meet the requirements and you're interested - try applying through the company website! That'll make you stand out! 💕 https://lnkd.in/eQYykQQa

When you are looking for an agency to work with, what moves the needle? Is it their process, their testimonials, or the quality/budget ratio? All of these are important, but for me, what seals the deal is knowing that, while hiring an agency, I'm actually gaining a partner. At LowCode Agency, we focus on building genuine partnerships with our clients. We believe in transparent processes, showcasing our work through detailed case studies, and offering a strong quality/budget ratio. Most importantly, we care about your product's success. We don’t just bring your ideas to life; we support your growth long after the launch. Choosing the right agency can be challenging. Look for one that not only meets your technical needs but also aligns with your vision and values. Have you had any experiences where an agency felt more like a partner? What qualities made the difference for you? #Partnership #BusinessGrowth #ClientSuccess #AppDevelopment #TechPartnership #ProductLaunch #QualityService #CustomerCare #TechInnovation #AgencyLife #lowcode #nocode

You’re not one of those people who only measure their success by the number in Stripe… You have a good heart, good intentions, and you want to make sure you’re having some sort of impact on the lives of others or the life of the planet 😍 I’ve got a client at the moment who is incredibly impact-driven. It’s her whole business, and working to create positive change has been her whole career. But we’re working together with a focus on… SALES and sales copy! Because even if you’re entirely impact-driven, just like my client, with no great hungry desire to make your millions, you still need to focus on sales. Even if you’re: 🥰 a coach with a mission to help others 🌍 a sustainable brand working to protect nature 🖥 a business owner with a vision and mission to create change within society You still need to care about sales 💰 Because without sales, how can you continue the work you want to do? You'd have to go and get a "normal" job 😬 Unless you’ve got a bank of cash in the bank, your business needs to balance profit and sales with positive impact, at least until you reach a level of stability where you can focus more on the impact. I don’t know about you, but putting money in the hands of honest, decent, good people (like you!) sounds like a bloody great way to help change the future. Don’t you think? 🌲🌲🌲 I’m Jess, sales, website, and launch copywriter for when you want copy grounded in your values and voice. 📩 Sign up for my emails in my featured section to learn how to make sales through your copy so you can do more of the impact stuff.

DID YOU KNOW: ...you don't need permission to go to work doing what you love? Really! You can just start right now. You don't need an employer or anyone else to give you permission. And you don't need a start-up plan or funding. Just get started. Sales professional? Register as a partner of your favorite product/service and start selling it. Web developer? Build a new site for your friend's company and give it to them. Or just analyze a local business site and give them a professional assessment. They'll pay you something, or at minimum tell others about you. Really good at content creation? Create content for your favorite brand, friend's business, or your local dentist office and then give it to them. They'll respond in some positive way. Just start serving someone with your talents and experience. You'll quickly find your place and you'll learn more in a month than you ever will researching or hoping or dreaming or applying. So START. Like, now.

Every business is a sales business. If someone on your team technical or non technical is terrible at their job, you will spend years in startup hell. you owe it to yourself and your team to do whatever it takes to hire professionals. you don't have to be technical to understand if a feature works because you'll be speaking to real world customers, and customers tell you if it sucks 🤬 you don't have to be technical to understand if your APIs work for other customer engineers because they will tell you Instantly and raise hell, nitpick, and want to show you a better way (the bad devs never do this) you don't need to be that technical to use Figma to design solutions for your customers, write requirements, or do the 100 things that make a great product. (I've handed phenomenal engineers a drawing on a napkin, and they delivered a feature that won) lastly, If you can sell your product, what are you really doing? build/ship/sell (rinse/repeat) (remove bad hires fast)

A hill I will die on: Founder <> market fit is a better predictor of success than product <> market fit. If you’re starting a business without an unfair advantage as a founder, your likelihood of success goes way down. An unfair advantage can be things like: - Industry expertise - Unique past experiences - Network - IP or patents - Ability to raise capital With The Starters, I have the first 3 as my unfair advantages. 1. Industry expertise I’ve run 3 different e-commerce businesses at this point, ranging from $0 to $50M. I know what it takes to succeed at every stage. 2. Network My small presence on platforms like X and LinkedIn, coupled with my relationships from Winc, gave me enough of a network to be able to talk to and attract customers in the earliest days of our business, helping solve the cold start problem. 3. Unique past experiences My experience hiring dozens of employees, then having to go through 4 rounds of layoffs at Winc exposed me to how unsustainably companies can grow and the unique challenges growth presents to e-commerce businesses. The ability to quickly scale OPEX up or down via fractional talent is critical to success, particularly in e-commerce. I also know (from trying them myself) that the freelance hiring options for e-commerce brands absolutely sucked. It gave me motivation to create something that would help e-commerce businesses grow sustainably via vetted, affordable fractional talent. Before starting a business, figure out what your unfair advantages are.

In 2023 my one-person business surpassed the income I made at my old 9-5 big tech job. I’m referring to the LinkedIn “side-hustle” I do outside of building a startup with my dad. For the last couple years I’ve worked completely remote (mostly from Texas). But I’ve also been fortunate enough to travel the world while working. This year alone I’ve been to Barbados 3 times already and have 2 more trips to Belize. While I’m traveling, it gets extremely challenging to run a business all by myself. As founders we always want to be everywhere & do everything on our own. But I’ve learned that getting help is fundamental for long term success. If I ever needed help, I’d use a platform like Fiverr to: ✅ design a new logo ✅ make LinkedIn carousels ✅ create a super fast website ✅ develop a custom media kit ✅ help me book calls with brands Look, transparently this is an ad but that doesn’t mean you should scroll away. Some of my closest friends have started side hustles that became their main hustle. If there’s one thing big tech has taught me, it’s that you should ALWAYS have a plan B. Because a job could be here today and gone tomorrow. So if you’re ready to start a new business or side hustle, find incredible partners here: https://lnkd.in/evqCHnTi P.S. Want a 10% discount on your first Fiverr hire? Use code DOMINICK10 and you’re good to go! P.P.S. Reshare to support others ♻️ #remotework #hiring #founders #creators #FiverrPartner

How to “not” get overwhelmed by the tech part at the time of launching my info-product. 70% of coaches and consultants get slammed by the tech side of launching their info product. Here's why: → You're trying to do everything yourself. Learning landing page builders, email marketing platforms and membership sites all at once is a recipe for burnout. Try this instead: ✅Focus on your core strengths. Are you amazing at creating content? Channel that energy into developing stellar info products. ✅Delegate or outsource. Free up your time by hiring a tech-savvy freelancer or exploring user-friendly tools with intuitive interfaces. ✅Break it down into steps. Don't try to set up everything at once. Prioritize essential features like delivery and payment processing, then add bells and whistles later. Do this consistently. It will get you several benefits like: → Reducing stress: You’ll get more time for doing what you love. → Faster launch: Get your product in front of potential customers sooner. → Scalability: Lay the foundation for future growth without technical roadblocks. While selling your info product, time is money. So, focus on building your info product so strong that you don’t have to worry about buyer acquisition. If you are a coach or a consultant looking to launch something, I can help you do it better. DM "launch" and we'll do a smooth launch of your product in 48 hours. #technology #techworld #launchstrategy
