"When do I need help with GTM?" Founders ask this a lot, and there’s not one correct answer here. Just as every combination of GTM, founder, and sales motion is different. An exercise I suggest when founders are unsure if it’s too early to bring in help: Take a note of every time you think to yourself: I really wish I could run this decision/dilemma/fork in the road/blocker past someone who has been through these motions before. If you’re noting down occurrences once or twice a month, you probably don’t need immediate help. You can often get with online research, talking to peers, crowdsourcing ideas through a network like Health Tech Nerds. If you’re noting down occurrences multiple times a week, you probably need help now.
