🚀 Mars One - Human Settlement on Mars, headquartered in the Netherlands, is leading an unprecedented mission: to land four astronauts on Mars by 2023, aiming to redefine the boundaries of space exploration and human achievement.
This ambitious endeavor has recently reached a significant milestone with secured investments totaling $6 billion for conceptual design studies and the astronaut selection program. These funds mark a pivotal moment in Mars One's journey, propelling it toward its goal of making humanity a multi-planetary species.
🔴 One of Mars One's most captivating aspects is its plan to stage a global reality-TV event around the one-way mission. Cameras will capture every aspect of the journey, from the rigorous astronaut selection process to the settlers' first years on the Red Planet. This innovative approach not only promises to engage audiences worldwide but also serves as a platform to inspire future generations of explorers and scientists.
Behind Mars One's vision stands a diverse group of investors who recognize the immense potential of this pioneering initiative. Their support is crucial in fueling the organization's critical early stages, ensuring that the conceptual designs are meticulously crafted and the astronaut selection process is carried out with precision and excellence.

For several years space exploration has captured the human imagination and has led to various technological advancements and innovations.
The Third Space Race, the current era of space exploration known as Space Race 3.0, is characterized by reusable satellite launches, commercialization, and several private space companies’ participation. It involves an increase in collaboration more than in the previous First and Second Space Races and the development of novel deep space missions.
In this Space Race 3.0, there is an increase in test flights of new rockets and privately sponsored probes sent to the Moon. In addition to the traditional spacefaring nations, several countries have space programs and are developing satellites and rockets.
Multiple satellite constellations are being planned and deployed during this Third Space Race to increase global broadband access by providing fast and affordable internet. Examples are SpaceX’s Starlink constellation, Eutelsat’s OneWeb, Planet satellites, and Blue Origin Kuiper constellation.
In this video, Astronautics4Xploit presents "Third Space Race: The 21st Century Space Race 3.0 Characterized by Disruptive Technologies". The focus points are Third Space Race, First Vs Second Vs Third Space Race, Drivers of Third Space Race, and Third Space Race Commercial Space.

Space...the final frontier.
Which is why we require not only "new math" to solve its challenges but new ways of thinking as well.
More awesomeness to come from OSA Consulting and MilkyWayEconomy collaboration, as together we usher in novel, innovative and extraordinary leaps for humanity in orbit and beyond.

The biggest achievement we had this year: to go from 1 design iteration per month to 1 iteration per day - designing, making and breaking in less than 24 hours🚀! How did we pull this off?
1. 💪Create self-reinforcing team dynamics: the biggest motivator is success, use that success to ignite everyone to achieve even greater things!
2. ⚙️Design for rapid manufacturing: design what you can make fast. Optimize later. Make sure that with every iteration, it not only gets better, but faster to build as well.
3. 📍Set ridiculously clear objectives: instead of trying to capture everything you’re doing, write down the obvious. Objectives aren’t about telling people what to do, but what to look forward to.
4. 🚀Move past anticipating: we needed to break out of the endless planning, focus on building - and move past the need for perfection. Sounds easy, but is often hard to get through.
5. 🤔Realize that, no matter what people tell you online, the most powerful thing is to ask ‘how can we get this done sooner?’ and embrace creative and unique solutions to get you there quicker.
Huge shoutouts to Lucas CohenNils NeumeisterSabin Ilegitim Ben Placke and team for making this happen - it’s an honor to work with you!
Testing is a central part of every space mission - especially when taking a brand-new approach to Mars exploration.⚙
With our Tumbleweed rovers, our engineers repeatedly test every aspect of the design when prototyping. Like this, they learn more about the mechanisms and ideal set-up. This summer, they made big progress, including our first drop tests to test the rover's unfolding mechanism. 🔧
On their way to the surface of the Red Planet, the Tumbleweed rovers will also be dropped from a significant height above the Martian poles. Head to our blog to learn more from Sabin Ilegitim, Nils Neumeister, and Ben Placke about how our engineers are improving the Tumbleweed prototype: https://lnkd.in/dBZhzEBj
