Waterstons Australia’s Post

This October we partnered with Teesside University London to help bridge the gap between the conceptual and practical applications of cyber security. "But how?" we hear you ask... Through a multi-phase, team-based competition aimed at developing practical cybersecurity skills. Student teams of up to four members analysed a simulated network, identified vulnerabilities, and crafted security recommendations using industry-standard tools like Nessus, NMAP, and GoWitness. The competition resulted in a presentation to a judging panel, with students detailing their methods, technical findings, proposed solutions, and reflections on the experience. Each team worked incredibly hard throughout, developing new skills both in cyber security and in team work. The challenge was a great success and was down to the wonderful team and Teesside University and our own brilliant team from Waterstons. #TeessideUni #WeAreWaterstons #CyberSecurity #TeamWork #CyberSecurityChallenge
