As per United Nations, 3.5 billion people still live without safely managed sanitation, including 419 million who practice open defecation. The main barrier to accessing sanitation is the lack of affordable financing. WaterEquity addresses this by providing debt capital to financial institutions in emerging markets, enabling them to scale #waterandsanitation #microloans. These loans help low-income families, like Nancy's, across Asia, Africa, and Latin America install sanitation solutions such as #toilets, improving health, preventing disease, and enhancing education, economic security, and #climateresilience. #worldtoiletday #sanitation #water #impactinvesting

💧 While freshwater remains abundant in some regions, its potability is declining dangerously in others. Degrading supply infrastructures and setbacks in sanitation are affecting the health of millions of people. In Ethiopia, for example, access to safe water has transformed lives, but many communities still face serious challenges. Lack of reliable data complicates the solution, and cooperation between governments and NGOs is key to addressing this crisis. Our experience in more than 96 projects has shown that investing in infrastructure and education can save lives and eradicate poverty.

Addressing Water Scarcity: A Global Challenge with Local Solutions 💧 Access to clean water is one of the most pressing issues facing millions around the world. Did you know that nearly 400 million people in sub-Saharan Africa still lack access to safe drinking water? It's a staggering statistic, and it highlights the need for innovative solutions. At Norway Water Wagon, we're dedicated to providing accessible, sustainable, and safe drinking water to communities in need. Our mission is to create reliable solutions that ensure everyone has access to this essential resource. Our efforts are particularly focused on regions that experience water scarcity, including parts of Africa where the situation is critical. In countries like Nigeria, Chad, and Ethiopia, millions face daily struggles with unreliable water sources, long distances to water points, and contamination. This leads to poor health, economic instability, and widespread poverty. But, with the right technology, we believe it's possible to make a significant impact. By supporting water infrastructure projects and bringing clean water directly to those who need it most, we can help improve quality of life, promote economic growth, and empower individuals to reach their full potential. Join us in the fight against water scarcity. Together, we can create a future where clean water is accessible to all. #WaterForAll #SustainableSolutions #NorwayWaterWagon #WaterScarcity #CleanWater #Africa #GlobalHealt

Access To Clean Water is Life. Access to clean, safe water is a fundamental human right. Clean and available water is a requirement for great health and sanitation as it improves the quality of lives and communities in general. Indeed, it is often said that WATER IS LIFE and no strategy for poverty reduction can ignore people’s vital requirements for safe water. Children and mothers are able to access water with ease unlike before where they had to travel 10km to 20km to access water. Also, the livestock are able to drink clean water as they are an important part of global agriculture. I'm fully committed to creating and supporting sustainable development in communities to ensure our better tomorrow. Bye and Cheers #water #waterdrops #waterreservation #worldwaterday #climatechanges #waterdays #naturerestoration #global
