After a pivotal year of leadership changes, Quad-A is excited to share the continued impact of our Chair, Alex David, and CEO, Sheena Gray, as they work together to champion diversity and professional development in the wealth management industry.
In his role as permanent Chair, Alex David, an industry veteran and current Division Director at Raymond James Financial Services, brings decades of experience and a deep commitment to advancing opportunities for Black financial advisors. He joins Sheena Gray, our newly appointed CEO, in shaping the future of Quad-A’s mission to empower financial professionals and close the racial wealth gap.
Key Takeaways:
✅ Industry Collaboration: Quad-A works with major firms like JPMorgan, Merrill, and Morgan Stanley to create opportunities for advisors and develop robust diversity programs.
✅ Supporting Small Firms: Providing resources, tools, and networking for firms with fewer diversity-focused initiatives, acting as their extended diversity department.
✅ Advancing Financial Education: Partnering with HBCUs and other institutions to help students navigate the financial industry through programs like the SIE pathway and paid internships.
✅ Addressing Wealth Disparities: Tackling challenges like access to wills and financial literacy to help narrow the racial wealth gap across generations.
Looking ahead, Quad-A is planning its first Capitol Hill Day in 2025, further amplifying the voices of Black financial advisors to advocate for systemic change in the industry.
We’re inspired by Alex’s leadership and the momentum building under Sheena Gray’s vision. Together, they are redefining what’s possible for African American financial professionals.
