Just published an update to MacBrickout. Several bug fixes and now the first three levels are fully unlocked (so you get lasers, bomb balls, bonus levels, radioactive balls, etc.). Upon starting the fourth level, the game will ask the player if they wish to upgrade to the full version. They can then continue the game as a shareware version with limited functionality or as the full version. Having the first three levels unlocked should give folks a better snapshot of what the entire game is like.
