On Being Appropriate: Where Do We Draw the Line? Did you know that 72% of people feel more engaged at work when they can express themselves freely? But here’s the kicker—80% also believe that maintaining professional decorum is equally crucial. It’s clear we’re all trying to find the right balance between the value of being authentic and being appropriate. In our quest to create more human-centric workplaces and communities, we’ve embraced individuality like never before. But have we also opened the door to a little too much… chaos? We encourage everyone to voice their opinions, yet we preach kindness and empathy in every interaction. Can we really have it both ways? As we navigate this tightrope, I find myself wondering: Is there enough space in our collective consciousness for the idea of appropriateness? Or are we at risk of letting it slip away in the name of progress? This conversation is far from over, and I’m genuinely curious—how do you strike the right balance? Because while liberty is fantastic, I can’t help but think that appropriateness should always have a seat at the table. #Musing #WorkplaceCulture #BalanceIsKey #EmpathyVsExpression #ProfessionalLife #values

Let’s get away from work for a bit!!! Every now and then, we all need an escape from the busyness in our daily lives. If you’re like me, that escape is occasionally watching a movie or two on the weekend. Beyond their entertainment value, movies often act as mirrors, reflecting parts of our own lives and offering us glimpses of meaning hidden within their stories, even when they are far fetched. People are constantly searching for meaning even, at times, trying desperately to find patterns in randomness. Nevertheless, these movies / stories, especially origin stories inspire us and embody the qualities we aspire to: courage, selflessness, determination, etc that we see so much of on social media everyday. While these movies/stories provide diverse perspectives, in this video, I share 3 key takeaways that can enrich our lives every single day! ✨ Please follow me Tony Ragoonanan for more on aligning emotion, behaviour and performance!! 👍I am here to support you. ⏩ Share to help support others #selfawareness #selfmanagement #emotionalintellligence #choice #resilience #connection #community

This simple yet profound quote reminds us that beauty is not merely something we find but something we create. It's a reflection of our creativity, passion, and commitment to making a positive impact wherever we go. In our personal and professional lives, we encounter various environments—some filled with natural beauty, while others may seem mundane or uninspiring. However, it's our attitude, actions, and efforts that determine the beauty of these places. Whether it's our workplace, community, or even our own homes, we have the power to transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary ones ✨🏡. Those who choose to make a place beautiful are the ones who see potential where others see limitations. They bring creativity, innovation, and enthusiasm to everything they do, inspiring others to join them in their journey of transformation 🎨🌟. So, let's challenge ourselves to be the kind of people who not only appreciate beauty but also contribute to creating it. Whether it's through our work, relationships, or everyday interactions, let's make a conscious effort to add value, uplift others, and make the world a more beautiful place for everyone 🌷💫. #MakeAPlaceBeautiful #Creativity #Innovation #PositiveImpact #AttitudeMatters #TransformativeLeadership #BeautyInEverydayLife #PersonalGrowth #CommunityBuilding #UpliftOthers #ValueCreation #Inspiration #Contribution #Empowerment #LifeChoices #BeTheChange #SpreadPositivity #LoveWhatYouDo #F1RE #ForwardOneRealEstate

In a world that’s moving so fast, we often forget the importance of small, meaningful actions. Today, I want to talk about kindness in the workplace. A simple “thank you” or “great job” can go a long way in making someone’s day better. It boosts morale, strengthens relationships, and creates a positive work environment. Let’s normalize appreciating the efforts of our colleagues, no matter how small they might seem. After all, kindness is contagious and can lead to a ripple effect of positivity. When was the last time you made someone’s day at work? Or when did someone’s kindness make a difference for you? Share your experiences below! #KindnessMatters #WorkplaceCulture #BeTheChange #DailyReflections #dream
