India’s luxury market is witnessing a change. Swiss watch exports to India grew 16.5% year-on-year in 2023, indicating growth of the market in the category. “Bright spots Georges K. cited included India, whose luxury infrastructure has been boosted by more distribution and the opening of new malls that have made it easier for people who once shopped abroad to buy at home. BREITLING is opening two or three more boutiques in the country, he said, without giving a timeframe.” The brand, recorded an over 40% jump in India revenue last year - CEO quoted. Simon's SVP Luxury Leasing, Velda Turan, spoke with Vogue Business about all things Vegas. Sin City isn't just for gambling, concerts, clubbing and convention-goers anymore. Professional sports and luxury shopping are hitting it big and welcoming droves of visitors from all over the world. Luxury brands are tapping into Vegas' larger-than-life spirit by hosting lavish VIC private shopping events paired with posh hotel stays and curated dining experiences. High-end retailers are investing in this market and Simon centers, Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and Shops at Crystals, are home to these evolving and expanding brands where memories are made. "This market is very special for us. And it's only going to get stronger, better, cooler, sexier," says Turan.
