To illustrate this fascinating concept, I've created a video featuring a simple visual experiment. The video shows a gradient background transitioning from gray to black and features two geometric shapes of the same color: a circle moving vertically and a static rectangle. Despite being the same color, the shapes appear different due to the background's gradient effect.
