Hiring Managers: I created a post last week explaining how there is only 10 weeks left of 2024. To go into more detail. If you're planning to grow your team in Q1 of 2025, starting now can save time, reduce stress, and give you a competitive advantage. Here’s why: 1) Less competition in the talent market: January is one of the busiest hiring months. Starting now means you’ll have fewer employers pushing for the same top candidates, giving you a better chance to secure high-caliber talent. 2)Access to top candidates earlier: Many professionals are assessing their options before the new year, and with fewer positions posted in December, you have a stronger chance of reaching these engaged candidates. 3) Notice periods in mind: Many candidates have a standard notice period of 4-8 weeks. Starting the process now lets you secure and onboard new hires by early 2025, and avoiding having to wait until March/April for them to start. 4) One step ahead for 2025: By completing your hiring goals in December, you start the new year with a critical task already checked off your list, allowing for a stronger focus on other Q1 priorities.
